Role Summary
We are looking for a Thermal Engineer to design, test, and optimize liquid cooling solutions for AI, HPC, and data center equipment. This role connects thermal calculations, prototype testing, product validation, and customer requirements to deliver reliable high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Development
Design advanced immersion cooling systems for high-density data centre applications.
Develop thermal architectures for immersion cooling pods, CDUs, manifolds, and heat exchangers.
Perform thermal calculations for liquid cooling systems.
Optimize heat transfer efficiency for AI and HPC workloads.
Develop coolant circulation and distribution systems.
Design cooling solutions for GPUs, CPUs, AI clusters, and server infrastructure.
Support new product development from concept through commercialization.
Thermal Analysis & Simulation
Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations.
Conduct thermal performance modelling.
Analyse coolant flow characteristics.
Optimize pressure drop and hydraulic performance.
Evaluate heat transfer coefficients.
Conduct transient and steady-state thermal analysis.
Validate simulation models through laboratory testing.
Prototype Development
Support prototype manufacturing.
Develop thermal testing methodologies.
Conduct laboratory testing and validation.
Analyze prototype performance.
Recommend engineering improvements.
Prepare engineering change documentation.
Cross Functional Collaboration
Work with Mechanical Engineers.
Collaborate with Electrical & Controls Engineers.
Support Manufacturing Engineering.
Participate in customer technical discussions.
Support Sales & Presales teams.
Coordinate with suppliers and certification agencies.
Product Validation
Develop thermal test plans.
Conduct reliability testing.
Perform life-cycle validation.
Verify product performance against specifications.
Support certification activities.
