Refroid Technologies is at a growing stage and current plant is in IDA Jeedimetla however we are looking for a larger production plant in an around of Hyderabad. We already have order in hand to deliver for this financial year in the tune of INR 120 CR.
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer – Product Development with hands-on experience in designing and developing electrical systems for manufactured products. The ideal candidate should have worked in a product-based company and possess strong expertise in electrical design, component selection, control panel development, testing, and product validation. This role will work closely with mechanical design, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to develop innovative and cost-effective products from concept through production release.
Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Development
1. Design and develop electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and control schematics for HVAC and refrigeration products.
2. Select electrical components such as contactors, relays, MCBs, transformers, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, and HMI systems.
3. Develop control panels and electrical layouts for product integration.
4. Prepare electrical calculations including load analysis, cable sizing, and protection coordination.
5. Support new product development (NPD) and engineering change management.
Documentation
Create and maintain:
1. Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
2. Wiring Schematics
3. Panel Layouts
4. Bills of Materials (BOM)
5. Technical Specifications
6. Test Procedures and Reports
7. User Manuals
Testing & Validation
1. Develop and execute validation and reliability test plans.
2. Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
3. Ensure compliance with electrical safety and performance standards.
4. Coordinate third-party testing and certifications when required.
Manufacturing Support
1. Collaborate with production teams during prototype and pilot builds.
2. Resolve shop-floor electrical issues.
3. Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost reduction.
4. Support vendor development and technical evaluation of components.
Continuous Improvement
1. Drive value engineering and product cost optimization.
2. Recommend design improvements based on field and customer feedback.
3. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry standards.
Technical Skills
1. Electrical system design and product development
